Police Staff
In order for our police officers to do the job they trained for, we need an extensive range of frontline and behind the scenes personnel to make sure our Force runs smoothly. We call these employees 'police staff' and you'll find them in almost every department in the Force. These integral roles – available throughout the Strathclyde Police area – make up over 30% of our overall workforce, and it's their sheer diversity that sets them apart.
All police staff are there to support the core function of Strathclyde which is to deliver excellent policing services to the community that we serve.
